Secret Pal Program

 

 

What is the Secret Pal Program?

We can probably all imagine the stress and workload challenges that teachers and staff members at our school face. It’s 12 months of work crammed into 9 months! The Secret Pal Program is an opportunity for families to show appreciation for the people who are caring for our children – from the classroom to the library to the cafeteria to the front office, and everywhere in between.

 

What does a Secret Pal do?

You will remember your selected staff member during the school year with cards, small gifts, items for their work space, or anything else that shows appreciation for everything your Secret Pal does to make our school great! I will send you out Remind app reminders about once a month to help you remember. However, the timing of your gifts and their monetary value is completely up to you. It’s the thought that counts! Leaving your gifts at the front desk with your Secret Pal’s name is the best way to deliver them. If your child can keep the name of your Secret Pal a secret the whole year, involving him/her is great opportunity to enhance his/her own sense of gratitude, as well as writing/art skills (making cards and crafts) and math (purchasing little gifts).

How does it end?

Hopefully we will be able to end the school year with our small “reveal” breakfast where the staff member will gift the child that is sure to be fun!! Thank you for considering becoming a part of this valuable program!
